The inclusion of Youth into dialogue and decision-making is a priority for Hungary. Ms. Zsófia Rácz, UN Youth Delegate of Hungary, took the floor on 2 October on the occasion of the Third Committee General discussion on Agenda Item 27 (Social Development). She shared her experience in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals among young people throughout the country, and emphasized the importance of quality education, a cornerstone for understanding and changing the world for the better. Ms Rácz highlighted the value of innovative ideas, sustainable solutions and the sense of ownership for the future coming from the Youth, and also talked about the need for intergenerational dialogue in engaging persons from all ages in sharing ideas and implementing solutions.
